Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to read this petition and sign it, including people with disabilities. This site was built to meet level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, the standard that Israeli Standard 5568 and the accessibility rules of the European Union are based on.
What has been done
- Clear page structure with headings and landmarks, so screen readers can move through each page.
- Everything can be done with the keyboard: Tab moves between items, Enter and Space activate them. A "skip to content" link appears on the first Tab, and the focused item is always visibly marked.
- Every form field has a label. Errors are written next to the field and announced to screen readers.
- Text can be enlarged with the browser's zoom or with the accessibility menu at the top of every page, which also offers high contrast and underlined links. Your choices are kept in your browser.
- Colors meet the contrast ratios required by the standard.
- All content is still, and it stays on screen for as long as you need.
- The site works on phones and with screen magnifiers, and each language is shown in its own text direction.
Known limitations
Pictures of identity documents come from the signers themselves and are seen by the people who run the petition. If uploading a picture is hard for you, write to us and we will find another way for you to sign.
